George Washington shaped the presidency by establishing lasting powers and precedents that continue to influence how Americans view the office and how the executive branch functions today.
Washington left office nearly 230 years ago (March 4, 1797). We have had over four dozen Presidents since then. Return with us now to those thrilling days of yesteryear! From out of the past..... George Washington enters centerstage. REGISTER
