Walking Wednesday is a 13‑week summer library program designed to support the city‑wide walkability and bikeability initiative while encouraging healthy, active living and meaningful engagement with the community.
Walking Wednesday promotes safe, accessible movement for all ages and abilities, supports environmental sustainability, and strengthens community ties. Whether participants join every week or drop in, Walking Wednesday offers an inviting, low‑barrier way to stay active, explore the city, and connect with the library all summer long.
