Interested in volunteer or service hours?
Any middle schooler in the St. Charles area is welcome to come and help out at the Library! Formally known as Junior Friends, this group is for those who are looking to give back to their community while obtaining volunteer hours for personal, scout, or church use.
Volunteer activities include pulling books, helping maintain youth collections, preparing supplies for upcoming programs, cleaning supplies for the Library, and sharing ideas for upcoming Library programming. This group's members are the people we call on when we need additional help running larger programs such as Haunted Stacks, Summer Reading, and Star Wars Day.
The Middle School Volunteers meet the first Thursday of each month from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Additional volunteer opportunities are available. For more information reach out to Darcy, the Middle School Librarian, at dtatlock@scpld.org
