June's film: Sweet Smell of Success (1957) on June 7th - Sweet Smell of Success is a highly acclaimed drama starring Burt Lancaster, Tony Curtis, Susan Harrison, and Martin Milner. Filmed on location in New York City, it’s the story of a powerful newspaper columnist who uses his connections to ruin his sister’s relationship with a man he deems unworthy of her.
July's film: An American in Paris (1951) on July 5th - With music by George Gershwin and a leading performance by the incomparable Gene Kelly, this Best Picture winner is a musical delight from start to finish. The story centers around a trio of artists trying to make it in Paris without getting distracted by matters of the heart.
August's film: The Treasure of Sierra Madre (1948) on August 2nd - Humphrey Bogart leads this 1948 classic alongside Walter Huston and Tim Holt. The three men battle the harsh travels and their inner greed while they search for gold that could change their lives.
