After beginning his artistic career in Holland, Vincent van Gogh traveled to Paris before heading south.
In this in-person slide lecture, art historian Jeff Mishur discusses the artist's years in Paris and will show examples of portraiture, landscape and still life. This lecture complements the Vincent van Gogh exhibit at The Art Institute, now through September 4, 2023. REGISTER
Jeff Mishur is co-owner of Art Excursions, Inc., a company that provides art-related lectures and tours in the United States and private guiding in Chicago. Mishur has taught art history at the university level for more than twenty years.
