Award-winning vocalist Maureen Christine, joined by musician Michael Bazan and pianist Chuck Larkin, will perform those fabulous hits from the 70s, including a special tribute to Olivia Newton John.
In addition to songs by Olivia Newton John, Maureen will perform songs by such great female vocalists as Karen Carpenter, Barbra Streisand, Toni Tennille and Helen Reddy. Michael Bazan joins Maureen on his tenor sax and woodwinds, skillfully accompanied by pianist Chuck Larkin.
Maureen Christine is known for her “voice, crystal clear” and has received Grammy consideration in the traditional pop vocal category. She has opened for popstar Helen Reddy, Willie Nelson and has sung the National Anthem for the Cubs, and in a movie that stared Dennis Quade and Zach Efron. Michael Bazan is a respected music educator and professional musician who has played for renowned artists such as Cab Callow, Billy Eckstein, The Four Tops and Frankie Valley.
