DEPOSIT $20. Registration limited to St. Charles Library cardholders only.
This two-day training will cover all aspects of babysitter responsibilities and includes babysitter resources. Students must attend the entire training workshop both days and successfully pass all observable skills to obtain Red Cross certification. Training includes working with babies and younger children, CPR and First Aid. This course in not intended for recertification of CPR and First Aid if you have already taken Babysitter Training due to the limited number of seats.
Please bring a sack lunch on Day One. Day Two will be split into two sessions, with some coursework to be completed online PRIOR to attending on Day Two. A link to the online portion of the training, as well as instructions to turn in this portion, will be emailed to you. The Library has computers and internet access for anyone who needs access to the online section of training.
$20 DEPOSIT - This deposit is due within 7 days of registering for your place to be held in the program. Payments can be made at the Welcome or Youth Services Desks. The deposit will be returned to you at the beginning of the first day of training.
