Volunteer opportunity for ages 6 and up. In honor of Citizen Science month, the St. Charles Public Library is encouraging all to get out in nature.
Let’s explore this natural area while doing our part to help clean it up. Join us in pulling weeds at Delnor Woods. A naturalist will explain the impacts of the invasive weed, Garlic Mustard, and why it is important to get rid of it. They will teach us how to easily identify this weed. You will also learn about the nature app, iNaturalist. This is a great way to get involved with Citizen Science and explore the biodiversity in St. Charles. Help to record nature observations in your area.
