Huntley Community RoomKristin Tosaw, an Advanced Practice Nurse in Palliative Care, will explain the difference between palliative care and hospice. She will discuss eligibility, and the course of care available.
Identify what palliative care is and what hospice is:
- Understand when a person would be eligible for palliative care and when they would be eligible for hospice
- Discuss the ideal course of care going from palliative care to hospice care
- Describe myths of palliative care as well as myths of hospice
