The Foundation is proud to announce the launch of STC Immersive
STC Immersive is a new cutting-edge platform that takes patrons of all ages on an extraordinary journey; engaging multiple senses and transporting them to out-of-this-world experiences. With a 10x36 foot, floor to ceiling screen and a high-tech blended projector system, St. Charles Public Library is first in our field to bring ground-breaking digital immersive programming to the local community.
For the inaugural performance, the Foundation and St. Charles Public Library are excited to present the showcase series “From the Earth to the Moon – An Immersive Celebration of the Visionary Authors that Inspired Space Exploration.” Patrons can register to attend one of many showcase performances offered from March 27 through April 1. Select days will have sensory-friendly performances with reduced lighting and adjusted sound levels. Sensory-friendly performances will be labeled at the top of the program description.
Registration begins February 1. A SCPL library card is not required, however, please register everyone attending. A few drop-in performances will be available on select dates on a first-come basis until capacity is met.
