The Friends of the Library have commissioned local artists, Danielle Casali and Samantha DeCarlo, to install a mural in our Terrace Garden. We need your help in creation of the mosaic component!
Community sessions are available to all ages, 10+ through adults, to help shape and place the colored tiles for the mosaic.
Participants ages 10-13 need to have a caregiver also register and attend.
Artist Danielle Casali will be there to guide you through hand cutting glass and laying the tesserae on large mosaic butterfly panels. Materials, tools, and safety glasses will be provided.
Closed-toed shoes required. No experience necessary.
Space is limited, please register everyone attending. A St. Charles Library Card is required for this program.
