Dr. Josh Graham, Assistant Professor and Percussion Program Coordinator at University of Illinois performs with the Chen String Quartet, led by Chicago Symphony Orchestra Concertmaster Robert Chen.
Robert Chen is the concertmaster of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. He and his wife, violinist Laura Park Chen, and their children, violist Beatrice Chen and cellist Noah Chen, have been making music together for years. Special guest Dr. Graham joins the Chens for the premiere of a new version of "Stream" by Pulitzer Prize winner Shulamit Ran, arranged from its original form for clarinet and string quartet to marimba.
