Designed specifically for older adults to promote safe driving behaviors, increase awareness of driving risks, and provide strategies to prevent injuries and maintain lifelong mobility.
The goal is to empower aging adults with knowledge and practical tools to stay safe on the road.
As people age, they undergo physical, visual, and mental changes that make them more susceptible to medical conditions that can affect their ability to drive safely. ThinkFirst For Life aims to educate on the changes in driving as we age and how to stay safe on the road while preserving independence. The program addresses areas of concern, provides guidance on protecting oneself, and offers advice for staying active and independent for as long as possible. Maintaining safe mobility throughout life is a shared responsibility, involving aging adults, their families, friends, and professionals who work with older adults.
