Business assistance for creatives: You've tried selling your work, but business isn't your specialty. You make a product people like and want to make more of it, but it's time to think bigger.

Please join Ute Westphal, emerging artist and seasoned business advisor, who will share helpful information for fine artists, creative designers, creatives, emerging and seasoned artists. Topics covered will include:

  • Pricing your artwork is business and so is paying sales tax

  • Risk reduction (what is your responsibility for the sale)
  • 10 C's of selling artists

This workshop is interactive with time for the audience to write an artist statement, determine the difference between hobby and business, financial goals to cover cost and beyond. Trust the process, enjoy the ride to success, fail as you go and learn.
