Thinking about buying a new car but intimidated by the process? Scared you will buy a lemon or end up paying too much?
This class will empower you with advice and information and take the scary and unknown bits out of the car-buying process. Join automotive expert and educator Chaya Milchtein for “How the Heck Do I Buy a Used Car?” In a field that has traditionally been male-dominated, she made her way through the ranks of a car dealership and service center by learning everything she could about cars. She quickly became popular among her customers, who loved her ability to explain complicated things.
Immediately following Chaya Milchtein’s program, Business Reference Librarian Chris Flood offers a quick overview of two of our automotive-focused resources, Auto Finance Resource and the Consumer Reports Car Module. These databases can be used by everyone while in our library, or from home with a St. Charles Public Library card.
